Really Really Stuck :(

Hi

Im really stuck now on what to get my OH for Christmas. He's been banging on about an Ipad 2 (has never had an Ipad, just to point out). So ive been putting away for a while...great. Now his work have given him one for his job  (well, not really , just a pain as this is the only thing EVER he's said he wanted)

So, now im stuck. He likes Aftershaves etc, so will get him some of them. He likes Clothes, but likes to get his own. So maybe some vouchers. Does vouchers seem like a cop out for a man?

He loves gadgety things, but I havent a clue on that.

HEEEEELLLLPPP please :A
I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:

  • Maybe some accessories for his iPad? I've got a magnetic screen cover thing for mine and they come in lots of different colours. And/or a wireless keyboard for it? Or a nice case? Some of the designers are doing tablet cases now.

Or an I-tunes voucher so he can buy some apps?

How about taking him away for an overnight somewhere (Manchester for Trafford Centre, Newcastle for Metro Centre) and giving him a 'budget' to spend.

That way you get away for a night after Christmas together and he can get what he wants while spending time together?

My husband and I used to just do a stocking at Christmas and then go away for two nights on 27th.

  • I think Harrods (or similar posh shop) have a gents area, where you can get a old skool wet shave etc..

combine that with some shopping, and tea at the Ritz!
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

there is a kindle app for the ipad and also apples ibooks so possibly a kindle would be a redundant gift

Yes now that our boys are adults we have decided rather than stress over presents for each other we plan to go away for a night or two. We have only had two weekends away on our own in 21 years of marriage and one was earlier this year. My birthday was first up and we are having two nights in Paris in March:D
