What it looks like to me is you are being considered a high risk due to the amount of available credit you have available.

I have worked in finance for several years and this would flag up to me you are a high risk as there is an element of doubt due to your available credit meaning you could end up in financial difficulty as you are not near your limits.

It may be worth seeing if you can reduce the limits on them to improve your score.

Credit scores do tend to nosedive temporarily if you move home - as statistically you're more likely to default - but they soon build up again if you stay put for a while.

  • Yeh - and its completely unfair :( As a member of the forces I move every 18 months to 3 years (and once after only 9 months) AND Im on the Electoral role at my parents not my home address due to being in NI (dont care for NI politics and wanted to vote for a main party). Im entitled to do this due to my job - but does either the these "JOB SPECIFIC" reasons make a difference to credit reference agencies? does it heck - and it should because its basically discrimination against me due to my profession.
  • I called experian today and they advised me that my linked addresses may not all be listed, so they looked and added them and I find lots of old accounts, I also find that my father is on my list of linked people and that each time he is credit checked so am I and I am also linked to him, he may not be peffect and thats why my score is down. Could this be?
