Six Year Rule

Another question from me. Am on a roll. If i was never taken to court by Ltsb for an outstanding amount on a bank loan hence no ccj at present. But is showing a default on my credit file. am i right in thinking that it will come off my credit file after six years as long as there is no ccj attached to it. But and a big but. Can the DCA take me to court and slap me with a ccj. Then giving me another six years of headache. If it were not for the ppi on these loans then they would have been paid off long ago. I took the loans out in 1997 and 1998. To run over four years. Both were for 1500.00 each. It was due to illness originally that a stopped paying them. Thank you xxxxxxxxx:eek: :eek:
