Cravendale Milk

I went to Tescos on Friday and this was £1.60 (the supermarkets by me have stopped the 2 for £3 offer), but when I went last night it had gone up to £1.90 - 18.5% rise in three days and a 27% rise on the 2 for £3 - I will be buying Aldi's milk from now on, which is a shame as I like the Cravendale.

Just been to Tesco and they had cravendale 2 for £3. Although I brought two of the Asda filtered milk for £1 each instead.

Gone to £1:90 at my local, though they have their own version so thought I would give that a try, at the till, the cashier saw three bottles, tapped that in and scanned theirs so got them for £1:69 each

Cravendale is a product of the Arla Group they also make smartprice butter and the purple top 1% milk that is 89p for 2L, I honestly can't see any difference in the 89p milk and the cravendale skimmed other than the bottle

Filtered milk such as Cravendale has an extended shelf life which can be useful if you can't get to the shops that regularly.

Sainburys have Cravendale at £1.80, but in their Christmas mag, (free on one of the aisles), there is a 50p off 2 litres on page 29, making 2 litres £1.30. If I remember correctly, the coupon is only till 15th November.

Our 'local' (i.e. 30-odd miles away) Asda never has that, BUT ....
