Reducing my hours - how to work out my salary?

Hi,
I hope someone can help me, I've been going round in circles with my calculator!!
I'm presently employed part time for 20 hrs per week, this is half of the full time equivalent of 40 hrs at my firm. I want to cut down my hours even further (I'm getting stressed) and my boss is agreeable in principle.
But... how can I work out what the percentage of a full time equivalent for calculating holiday entitlement and salary would be, if I were to work:
20 hrs for the first week of the month (the busy time), and
14 hrs per week for every other week of the month.
I thought of working out the hourly rate and multiplying by 62 (hrs per month) which would give me a salary rate, but what about those months which have 5 weeks?
I'd really rather have a percentage of FTE. Can anyone help me work this out please?

14/40 * full time equivalent salary.
Or divide your current one by 20 and multiply by 14.

Other people work 52 x 40 = 2080 hours a year.
You will work (12 x 20) + (40 x 14) = 800 hours a year.
This means you are working 100 x 800 / 2080 = 38.5% of a full time person.0 -
But they're working 20 hours for one week a month.somethingcorporate wrote: »14/40 * full time equivalent salary.

I would expect the concept of annualised hours to be appropriate to your situation.
