Thank you for all the input, I looked at some of the variable deals and it was only about £20-30 a month better off.

As it is I have just got a AIP on the 5 year fix mentioned and my offer on the house has been accepted.:j
A pleasure. Hopefully now your parents can begin to enjoy their autmn years in their own time and space. :T

Yes I am sure they will enjoy it just as much as they have in the years I have been at home. Whoops I mean I am a pain to live with and they will be a lot better off of course.

As I said before I will go fom man-baby to man. You will go from a bitter and twisted !!!! to a bitter and twisted !!!!. (I love the swear filter but I can assure all its not a nice word).

I wish you could see the irony in that statement.

I am sure many more will agree my summary of you is much more accurate than your summary of me.

I am sure you will continue to point much of your anger with the world at me and others with loving families, but don't worry I can understand that mental illness can have all sorts of effects on people and you have my sympathy rather than anger. I wish you good health and fortune in the future and hope you soon overcome your problems.

Come on then Percy, who gave you the deposit, and do I need to scour your post history for any digs at Hamish for a similar thing?

Don't worry boy I am much more than capable and can fight my own battles, so couldn't care less what you or anyone else thinks. You see that type of mature, independent, confident thinking, and belief, comes from moving out of home at 18 to start University before going on to make a success in the City, hence my detached in the country and a couple of BTL's. Whereas you're just planning to moved out of your parents shelter and safety, for the first time, at the age of nearly 30. Quite the success in life, aint you boy.

There is a gift of £500 from family members (very nice of them), me selling a few things on ebay and sold my car.

So very little given to us.

reweird, you are actually starting to bore me, I can see I am not helping your condition so you maybe it will be best if you are the first into my ignored poster list.

If you ignore me too you will no longer see stories of a happy supportive family and my successes in life which clearly are bothering you.

    Sound like a good plan?

Just a thought, but sorry if the answer isn't the one you were hoping for. I will add for the record I don't believe I have ever had a dig at Hamish for such behaviour (did he buy his place with help?) by all means I may have already came across that fact but I don't see it as very relevant so would have forgot.

I will add the car sold was fully paid for by me, as where the 3 cars before it.
