The op was merely pointing out that you can get the letter from 1p, they didn't suggest you only make a 1p donation.....shoot the messenger and all that
fingers crossed that no one actually has donated such a feeble amount thenTROLL SLAYER......0 -
thank you just ordered 20

Thank you OP, not because I COULD have got my letters for 1p but for pointing me in the direction where I could get a letter for my DC's and give money to a worth while charity at the same time. I gave them what I could afford and im sure it will cover costs plus donate some money to them. I would much rather the NSPCC get my money than a buy it now on ebay.Eleventh Heaven No 22251 2 3 4 5 [STRIKE]6[/STRIKE] 7 8 9 10 110

At the end of the day this is free publicity for the NSPCC and people have ordered from them rather than ebay based on this post so that's what's matters. I'm sure the OP didn't mean any harm but it's worth bearing in mind that the suggested minimum donation is £5 and the NSPCC is a charity. There are ways of pointing this out without jumping down the OP's throat!0

thatnks for the heads up on this. i was just about to line someones pockets on ebay for letters for my kids. last year my daughter was disappointed to receive no letter from santa despite writing to him in november. (royal mail offer) so this year i have ordered 2 letters and helped out a charity aswell. happy days.
i know people are getting stick for how much they offer as a donation but isnt something better than nothing? im sure thats how any charity sees a donation. many families are struggling what with redundancies etc so im sure they have given all they can in the hope to help others... i dont think they should be frowned upon for this.... £5 is a recommended donation its not set in stone or it would request set amounts? i have given this amount but i believe what people can afford charities such as these will be grateful....0 -
Royal Mail still send cards from Santa to kids if they post him a letter in the post box addressed to
Santa/Father Christmas,
Santa’s Grotto,
Reindeerland,
SAN TA1
Remember to include childs name/address for the return card.
Also http://portablenorthpole.tv/home (not started yet) make the cutest video messages from Santa for free, which you personalise with events from the year gone by and can add photo's to.
My children were blown away by these last year. You can also make adult versions with messages such give up smoking, or I've heard you've had a bad year hope next one's better.:hello:0 -
We tried the royal mail one last year and never got a letter back
This year think I will give the NSPCC one a go, thanks OP xxSorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0
