Vegetable chopper/slicer

Looking for a veg chopper that will save me having to lug out big old food processor that does not seem to do job.

Like cooking lots of veg, and try to do bulk cooks for freezer, preparation is so tedious any ideas?

Have you checked out Lakeland - they do a manual chopper thing called a Zyliss easy chopper - I have a similar thing and although you have to chop the veg yourself, there is something strangely satisfying in smacking the plunger bit repeatedly :D
I was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......

There was a discussion about these kind of choppers in the Old Style section, I personally have this V-Slicer and couldn't do without it, it's an absolute godsend it truly is!!

I have both of the items Barmycow and Cazzdevil speak about. I use both of them and have to admit pounding the top of the smashing the easy chopper is immensley theraputic;)! Brilliant for chopping onions especially.
