New slice the pie website!!

Good evening all,
I was just wondering how many of you are members of Slice the Pie and what do you think of their new website? I rated a few songs but then run out of "energy" and the pay out per song is very poor compared to the old system and now I cannot even get onto the website the page just seems to be an egg timer!

Anybody else got this? What are your thoughts about the website?

Looking at some of the comments on facebook it hasn't gone down well.

The pay is now a maximum of 3 cents but you can earn a 'bonus' depending on the quality of the review.
You now have to listen to 90 seconds before beginning a review.

Think this is probably the end of the line for me (shame after 4 years) but we are now talking at least 1 hour to earn every dollar - you may as well walk the streets looking for coins!

I agree, I do not think people are very happy and it makes it so hard to make any kind of money! I wonder what others will have to say on here? Also I wonder what they will do - will they listen to the people using the site?

Doubt it - They never have in the past.

Shame really as some of the changes are (Potentially) good - like I can see the benefit of having a bonus for good reviews but with such a low base rate it really isn't worth it. Also having a limit on songs is daft - people enjoy listening to music!

just noticed it now actually. the site has been dying for some time so I think this does smack of a last roll of the dice really.

they seem to have abandoned the whole idea of crowd finance in favour of people keeping the soundout model alive.
