Idiophreak, great flowers. I like it when things aren't all 'matching' but complimentary. I especially love the last one with the bits hanging out - are they flowers or hearts?

They were flowers - I want to say they were called "magic lanterns" or something - but I've really no idea :)

We just told them we wanted something "sticking out" to put a little colour onto the white walls of the marquee - and that's what they came up with.

I should have added - for our £500 we are getting:
    • Bride's bouquet
    • BM bouquet
    • 7-8 buttonholes
    • Bouquets of flowers to give to our mums
    • Multiple church displays (outside the door, on and beside the altar, pew ends, register table etc) plus candles - I am going to go for lanterns with candles in them all the way up the aisle :)
    • Venue flowers inc. all centrepieces, huge display at the entrance, top table etc - including candles, birdcages, tea lights etc
    • A buttonhole and an arrangement of flowers for my dad's grave
    • Site visits to the church and rec. venue
    • Sample bouquets, buttonholes and centrepieces made up for us (to keep!)
    • Everything transported on the day
I think that it is amazing value for money and, having seen their work before, I am VERY excited about it. :)

Can't see any of the pics on my PC, will try to look at them on my phone xx

Thanks idiophreak. I know what they are. Physallis I think - like the fuit. I too like sticky out bits - I like the Marth Stewart ones with ribbons and tiny flowers on. I may do something similar for my little flower girls.

We're going for silk flowers, because its cheaper and because I want to give my BM's bouquets to my grandmothers (and keep mine for me). I'm going with an ebay seller from the states who has quoted me $168 and $17 postage for
    1 round brides bouquet
    2 bridesmaids bouquets
    1 flower girl bouquet
    1 groom boutonniere
    1 groomsman boutonniere
    2 father's boutonniere
    2 mother's corsages
1 alter piece/ top table flowers.

I'm not having flowers as my centrepieces on the other tables.

What were you using to host them? I find imageshack to be quite easy...

It was photobox. I just can't be bothered moving them around to various locations on the web. Already had Mum asking for pictures in 10 different ways so she could get them on her computer!

Plus some are on Flickr - which also doesn't work here. I'll update perhaps if I get motivated!
  • Best website is http://tinypic.com/ as you don't need to register to use it and it'll keep your photos on.
