Worked just fine with Firefox 2

I just started using firefox 2 and I have yet to have any problems. I switched as Ie7 is just to buggy, crashing and failing to load sites if I had more than 4 tabs open.

I've really started to like firefox and love the ability to use addon scripts for just about everything. It's never crashed and runs fine with mulitiple tabs open.

Give it a try. You can always switch back.

If you do try it install the addon FEBE ( http://en-GB.www.mozilla.com/en-GB/firefox/customize/ ).. it makes a complete backup of the total install of firefox including bookmarks and scripts. Great for installs on other machines and windows problems.

  • Firefox is so much better than IE; it isn't immediately apparent until you start to use add-ons imo but it's a more pleasant browsing experience and apparently the problems you get with the occasional website is from lazy coders. Anyway it worked for me and I too use Firefox 2.

Anyway Thanks for this, really would like to upgrade my PC.

  • Wow, they're still bundling MS Works with new computers? I had no idea that even existed still!

Not to disparage OP's work on posting this. Good job, OP, thanks!
  • My javascript's stopped working on this comp so IE doesn't work.
