I've not seen a sparrow round these parts lately
When I was little there used to be loads, you couldn't take a peek outside the window without spotting at least half-a-dozen.
we see:
starlings - 100s
seagulls - 100s
blackbirds - yes
thrushes - yes
magpies - yes
and as for pigeons (and/or doves) of any type - loads.
Where have all the sparrows gone
