Ive just recieved an email from amazon regarding Black Friday

The 5 day sale will start on Monday 21st November

I must have missed it last year (got everything I needed for the kids in the Sainsburys half price toy sale) but I remember seeing people posting about it then, Was it any good?

To me that suggests we need to merge everything and just have one Black Friday thread which people can refer to.

Last year it was a huge thread on here. Would be a shame to see this moved away from Grabbit too.

I got some cracking deals. laptop , food mixer etc.. I must admit it was a bit stressful. Goes from monday to friday.

This was great last year (even if it did mean my productivity dropped for about 3 minutes on the hour every hour :-) )
I managed to get a double sleeping bag for about 75% off, its really nice and has come in handy on many occasions since.

Must beware of getting caught up in the moment though, almost bought lots of stuff i didnt really want/need just because it was such a good deal, luckily i was stopped by lots going OOS in the first couple of seconds. :-)

I think the American site and the british one have different things, worth keeping an eye on?

Was hilarious last year, although i lost 5 days of my life!!! And a huge box of Thorntons due to someone saying they were cheaper elsewhere so i chucked them from my basket only to find the box was smaller elsewhere :mad:
