Council Tax Banding for Tenants.

Just to ask is it possbile for Tenants to find out the Council Tax banding and get a possbile rebate if the banding is incorrect? I've been renting for years how would I go about checking the places you've been at and go about getting money back if I've overpaid?

I think I am right in saying that you can only query the council tax on the property you are currently living in, so if you have moved, then you will have to forget about the council tax you have paid before.

your local council office website will have all the council tax bands for each property if you put your postcode into their search box, or go to the voa website and do the same with your postcode, though the voa site is running very slow at the moment as everyone is using it!!!!
