Scallywags modelling agency anyone?

Hello all,
(please move if posted in wrong place)
My son has just been accepted by the above (he was 2 in august!) I am by no means a pushy parent and tbh was against all this sort of stuff but a lot of people told us to do it so we thought we would send some photos off and see what came of it.
They seem to have really good reviews online but they charge £200 annually. I know the norm is to not pay but it seems that all the child modelling agencies make these charges towards the running of the web page.
They seem to have very good companies on their books and I can find very few comments that are negative.....
I just wondered if anyone had dealt with them or could reccomend another agency that doesnt charge?
Thanks
Zoe

If you've got £200 to spare and don't actually expect him to get any work you've got nothing to lose by signing him up.
Just be aware, he hasn't been 'accepted' onto their books, you've agreed to pay them £200 to include him.
One word of advice, most children you see in magazines/adverts/photoshoots are children of the photograpgers, crew or publishers bought into work with mummy or daddy for free.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Please don't bother! I registered DD1 last year. Am still waiting.. I am in the process of doing a portfolio. (which is a must to have for modelling these days).
Pop onto next fan page on face book and ask them who they use. It's free0 -

Newsflash......they write the reviews themselves"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0
