counting the pennies till payday

I have been doing this for a couple of years now. I have a diary and a week or so before payday I write all my bills down in priority order and then on payday the ones that come out automatically get ticked off on the 1st once they have left my account and then I immediately phone everyone else and pay (the ones were the dd is due later in the month) them so all my bills (except 1) can be paid on payday. This way I know everything is done and I have never missed a bill payment or forgotten about one either. I doubt I will ever do it any differently.

hi there, havent posted for a while but had a huge car repair to deal with so i am on track. Get paid on Wednesday and will have £1578 after bills, providing nothing else needs paid before then lol
