    Hi all

Just back from York where I met up with Spendless, Sarahsaver and Fran. We had a great time and I really enjoyed meeting them in person (I already knew Fran from the London launch).

We stayed in a hostel that was nearly empty so we had it almost all to ourselves (except for the hunky builder who shared our room and showed us his knickers - ask the others, I am not telling anymore hehhehhehhehehheh!). Dinner in a nice turkish restaurant then a quick pint just before closing time, then sleep.

Obligatory visit to Lakeland and a bit of window shopping in the posh stores and real shopping in the quid shops hehe.

I'd love to have another of these lovely meets again and I am sorry that not more than just 4 could make it, as it was really fun.

    Love

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Glad you had a great time Caterina. Wish I could have made it but hubby was working and his dad has just come out of hospital (his mum and dad would have had daughter to stop otherwise).

I'll definitely try and make it next time :D

Peterborough is only 1 hour's train from York!!!

Pity you could not make it, I am sure that there will be more, you could arrange one in Peterborough though, it is nearer for me to come over from London, maybe easier for others too!

I got back about 7 ish, after lots of probs with the train/bus... ooh i feel a complaint letter coming on;)
Had a great weekend, shame more people could't come along. It was fascinating to put faces to names, and I was thoroughly impressed with York and with the hostel we stayed in.
The builder's pants were a bit grey and after that I did not look at them!
Already planning my next visit to York, and by the way for those who were there u know i had an interview, HSBC didnt give me a job so back to the self employment plans, and talking to you lot has been inspiring. I had a good break, and am already back with a pot of chicken stock on the hob LOL :)

Sorry to hear you didn't get the job Sarah. Hope you have some good news in your job search soon.

Awww Sarah sorry about the job! But you gonna buy the pub in York aren't you? And we can come and visit and have free drinks and Fran can do the music thing and I can sing!

Yeh we were all looking at his b_um he had a nice tight one and better than the lard ar_ses that one sees in the streets of London - so we had a visual treat as well as great company! hehehehhhehhehheh

It was GREAT!!! I hadn't enjoyed myself so much for a long time!

Many thanks to Spendless for her kind thought of bringing us a bottle of Henderson's relish!
