  • Amazing reductions BUT if you read the full descriptions the material is cotton foundation with a SYNTHETIC WOOL pile. You can find that quality in any market - IMO they're having a laugh.
  • Yes they look great but they are not wool. So they are about the right price not the great bargain they look.

I'm rubbish at materials for things like rugs, have just found one that states its 70 % ACRYLIC And 30 % MODACRYLIC how much should I expect to pay for this? The size is 150cm x 100cm I'm not sure what is a good price?! Any people in the know about rugs or materials I would appreciate your help :)

good place for cheap rugs :D
  • I bought a rug for £83 from irugs recently and it was cheap looking. They offer a 30 day return policy. But what they don't display clearly on their site is that you have to return rugs to Zurich, Switzerland. The customer is expected to meet the cost for the return. Rugs are heavy, and mine cost nearly £50 to post using Parcelforce. The cheapest quote online was TNT for £42 but I chose Parcelforce as they are reliable and I could send from my Post Office.
I managed to get iRugs to agree to cover half the postage but even so...
I wonder whether this company are breaking any rules by not displaying clearly on their returns page that customers have to pay to post their rug back, and as there is no depot in the UK, UK customers have to send them abroad?
My rug was only posted back yesterday, and I've been told I'll only get my refund and the half postage back once it's been processed in Zurich.
Avoid this company. Their tactic is to try and persuade you to buy another rug, discounting the cost of the one you just bought, rather than send it back. I refused.

I wish we had read the 'real' reviews on IRugs before buying. What they sent us didn't match the photo on their website so we got an RMA and sent it to ... Switzerland. They stopped trading in the UK in 2011 (so why do they have a .co.uk web address?)

Anyway to make a long story short, IRugs would not collect the parcel after Parcelforce tried to deliver it to them twice. After ONE MONTH of email and phone calls they admitted it was their fault and OFFERED TO REFUND ONLY 50% OF OUR PURCHASE PRICE!!!:rotfl:

We told them we would report them and they finally gave us our money back. We certainly won't be using these fly-by-night carpetbaggers again!
