Need a new suit, off peg is suffice, any suggestions for a decent shop for this, one that do alterations too would be great, Edinburgh area only please?

Slaters menwear (on George Street above Austoni Reed) will do you a suit for less than £100 I think they had an offer on their website for around £60/70 a suit - not sure of the quality. I have bought a lot of business suits from the and they ofer free alterations. The only drawback from purchasing here is you only get 1 pair of trousers and I like to have a couple of pairs for longevity.

Another option is the M&S clearance store at Meadowbank retial park. You will be able to get a suit and 2 pairs of trousers for less than £100 but then you may have to get them altered on top of that.

EDited: Have just checked the SLater websiote and they have a suit package including suit, shoes, shirt and alterations for £75 http://www.slaters.co.uk/
