No, it doesn't matter. The only difference between the two is that caramel that the brown stuff is coloured with.
For larger quantities you might try and see if you've a chinese or oriental supermarket near you. It's also very cheap in places like @ldi and L!dl albeit in half-pint bottles.0 -
@sda sell the brown 568ml for 13p and clear for 44p I think, I may have a look at the stores you mention or get a milk type carton and fill it up.0
