Harvey's sofa-refund before delivery?

Hi there, today we have seen our prospective house purchase fall through on the day the contracts were due to be exchanged. We had ordered about 2 weeks ago a sofa to go into the new house(we are ftb so need something) and were quoted around 5 weeks for delivery.
I know of distance selling regs, and have read through Harvey's t&c and they say they will refund up to seven days after delivery providing the items are not 'made to order'
We ordered a 3 and a 2 seater sofa, and are assuming due to the low delivery time, these would fall under the not made to order category, and therefore eligible to the refund?
We will definatly buy the same sofa in the future, but will be unsure weather we need a two seater or two singles to go with it as we haven't yet got another house lined up. We would be cautious with taking a credit note just incase they were to go under in the meantime (unlikely but you never know)
I will phone them tomorrow but was just after a bit if advice first. Thanks!

Did you pay by debit card or credit card.
Perhaps they will hold it for you in their warehouse tll you get a place.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Paid on credit card, their t&c say they will hold for 4 weeks at £25 per week. It will be minimum of 6 weeks before we get another place, so if possible we would prefer the refund then re-access once we have actually bought a place0

Wow, I didnt realise that they charged storage, blumming eck, they really dont deserve decent customers.
Try going down the refund way then, you were wise going the cc way so that if yu do end up with a credit note, then you are protected with the CC if they go bust.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
