Hotel saying no availability but website says otherwise?

I bought a groupon deal a while back for two nights at the Holiday Inn in Amsterdam. I need to use it before the end of the year, so I emailed them and gave three dates and asked if these were available. They said no to them all.

But if I go to their website they have plenty of availability for these dates. What gives? Can they do this? I can't see anything on the vouchers that says the deal is limited or is for a certain type of room or anything like that.

Comments

  • Did you ask groupon about the dates or the company?

Usually it'll be the hotel that will deal with the dates... and I think hotels that do vouchers with Groupon just end up reserving certain rooms for groupon vouchers. A lot like how thompson holidays will that or... hotels.com etc. All the same policy!

Can you not get a refund?
