Pretty rubbish that the spend threshold has gone up to 75.00 for online purchases as opposed to the usual 50.00. Boo to Mr B!
  • ... is not as straightforward as you may think!

I went into Boots on Saturday when they had their 1,000 points on a £50 spend. I bought things that, after the BOGOFs and 2 for 1's etc, came to a total of £53 and some pennies.

However, I then handed over a £5 voucher (towards a Boots No. 7 product) which bought the balance to just under £49... and I wasn't entitled to the 1,000 points!! The 'till' only gave me the normal 4 points per £1.

I said this wasn't fair as the total of items I had purchased was over £53 and the £5 voucher had been part of my overall payment... and they did then manually top-up the points on my card to the 1,000

It's not fair I know, exactly like at Argos if you spend 49.99 you will not get the £10 voucher back. You have to make sure you spend £50 even with vouchers!

I've just discovered my Boots has another christmas evening tonight and other larger stores tomorrow as well.
  • I've just got 2400 points and a till throwback for 500 additional but cannot be used on 9th or 10th November does anyone know when the next one is?
  • Quidco has a code for £10 off £100 spend online as well.

Lacoste Pink purfume is a fab offer this week!

If anyone has the high street vouchers, at the back of the booklet there is a voucher for 500 points when you spend £50 in vouchers.
They work alongside the 1200 points, I was getting 1700 points for every £50 spend today :j
If the SA says it's not allowed, ask them to scan it, It will work HTH someone :)

    End of the month :)

£200 spent, all the xmas prezzies sorted and £48 in points back at the same time. That was the kind of shopping I like.

Oh BTW...for people looking to go today, most events are actually starting in store from 12pm not 3.30pm as originally advertised.

If I spend just under the £50 in argos I donate 1p to charity which is an option when buying in Argos (or used to be).
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
