Offline Multiplayer Cooperative XBOX 360 games

My partner and I have just completed Perfect Dark Zero together. We enjoyed it so much that we were wondering what other fully cooperative multiplayer 360 games are worth buying (not like Call of Duty 2 where it has a separate non campaign multiplayer game suite so you can't actually go into multiplayer mode in the campaigns). Could anyone recommend any from this list below? I can borrow Gears of War from a friend. We had Rainbow Six Vegas in mind, but I wondered if that was a bit difficult for me, most Tom Clancys are a bit Stealthy.

Halo and Halo 2. Both are from the XBOX but they can be played on the 360 and dont forget that Halo 3 is out in November

Thanks. My partner doesn't like the Halo games. I should have mentioned that I suppose. lol. I've never tried them. We have a HD and latest backward compatability update, so I could borrow the old xbox Halos off a friend to see what they are like I suppose. I'd hate to buy something the OH doesn't like :rolleyes:
