ok - you need to find the volume of the mould - fill it with water then measure into a jug.
Then you compare it to the volume of a tin that yo hvae a recipe for. So if the recipe you want says use an 8" tin then measure the volume in a 8" tin. Compare the volumes to work out how many times you need to multiply the recipe
I know I haven't explained that very well but hopefully you get the gist!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

A good recipe for a first attempt sponge cake is the old 6-6-3 method:
6oz butter
6oz caster sugar
6oz self raising flour
3 eggs
beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy; then beat in the eggs; then fold in the flour (figures of 8) with a metal spoon. Then divide between the tins (one half of a giant cup cake tin is often bigger than the other so divide accordingly).
Usually the giant cup cake tins are pretty huge so maybe double this recipe. Cook at 180 degrees C until when you poke it with a knife it comes out clean. If it starts going too brown on top then put some foil over it. Depending on how deep your finished cake is this could take anything between 20mins and an hour and a half to cook so keep a good eye on it.
