Isis 32" LCD HD Ready TV - £168.95 delivered @ BestBuy

I ordered this tv from Best Buy over the weekend. Seems a good deal at 32 inches with 2 hdmi ports and a usb pvr.

But I found out today the stores are closing -- wondering if I should cancel my order? What happens if there's a fault with the TV?

I found the deal on hotukdeals, btw.

When I had a problem with a product after a company had closed it fell to the manufacturer to sort it out.

In this case BestBuy is a joint venture with Carphone Warehouse and they are hoping to redistribute the staff among its phone stores which they also hope to expand to sell more technology so I would hope that they also take on the responsibility for things sold at BestBuy.

I was going to look for a new TV soon to replace the ageing normally aspirated 36 inch widescreen but will wait a bit.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

Does that mean you wouldn't buy one at Best Buy at the moment? My order is still in a stage where I could cancel, but that could change any minute and I'm just not sure what to do.

Bestbuy will be no more soon they are closing down

That was kinda the main point of my post, I was wondering if it's safe to buy from them.

No it means I will be waiting to see if there are any bargains to be had in the top of the range 3d tv's when they do close.

I would say if happy with TV and happy with price go ahead.

Now I don't know whether to cancel just to see if the price goes down, lol.

Was going to take advantage of a sky multiroom offer that ends 14 nov and had wanted the tv in for that. I do have a 15-inch bedroom tv we could hook the multiroom to if need be until we replace it with a bigger tv, though. Hmm.

  • I am in the market for a new TV for our dining room, I want a 42inch though :(

If I wanted a 32 inch then I would have no problems buying this it is clearly a bargain and as CW are behind the venture there is nothing to suggest there is anything underhanded just make sure you register the product with the manufacturer for the warranty and of course most importanlty pay with a credit card!

    HTH :)

You can also reserve the TV and collect and pay in store at the time of collection.

I *think* I'll just go ahead and stick with this. The other downside is that Yodel delivers, and that hasn't been great service.
