Another Uniqlo fan here! I have tried the M&S and Primark stuff (both are similar to each other, the M&S stuff lasts a bit better year on year but they both do a good job). I prefer the Uniqlo stuff as it looks and feels a little smarter and can also be worn as outter-wear in the spring. Their leggings are also very good and easy to get away with as outter ware where as with M&S/Primark its very obvious your wearing long-johns!
  • I have a few of the M&S heat generating tops and love them, they are very thin, but are a very warm underlayer. I was advised to buy a size up, and find them a good fit.

Last year I bought my daughter thermals from Tesco.Pretty grey ones with a flower print on them. She has 3 sets of them and loves them. They also wash beautifully, to expensive either.
Paul Walker , in my dreams;)
  • Thanks for all the suggestions everyone :)

I got that M&S top because I love it and ordered a few plain tops from Uniqlo... I did have a look at the plain stuff in M&S but it didn't seem as smart to me and my housemate turns out to be a huge Uniqlo fan so she convinced me... :)

I don't live in easy each of a Primark unfortunately! Last time I went to one I got an awesome pair of wine coloured jeans for £2... Next time I am near one I'll check it out :)

    Thank you

Ive just got one from M and S and now I want to buy the burnt orange coloured one as it will go just right under a chocolate brown square boxy knitted top with short sleeves that Ive got.
  • My Uniqlo stuff turned up yesterday and I love it :) Fits beautifully, warm and just looks like a nice top! Thanks for the suggestion, I'd never have found it otherwise :)
  • Oh I am pleased, I'm always a bit nervous about recommending things just in case everyone else hates them !
