Tesco accept up to three 5p-off-fuel vouchers per transaction

Sorry if this has already been posted (I did a quick search and couldn't find anything).

A Tesco checkout operator told me that very few customers seemed to be aware that up to three 5p-off-per-litre vouchers could be used per transaction, saving 15p per litre. I didn't really believe her, so I checked online when I got home and found it to be clearly stated in the T's & C's.

I needed fuel yesterday, and handed two vouchers to the petrol station checkout man (I half expected him to hand one back to me) but he took them without question and gave me 10p off each litre.

  • and if you visit e-bay, you'll find that there are plenty for sale on there, meaning you will make a huge saving every time you fill up. I've been getting 15p per litre discount since July!

Does anyone know if this is available on the current 5p off offer?

There is no mention on T&Cs

Actually the one I used yesterday says on the receipt that only 1 coupon per transaction can be used.

Terms and conditions - "Discount available on one individual purchase of Petrol, Diesel, LPG or AdBlue for one vehicle, per coupon. Mixed grade transactions are excluded."

    I am no clearer myself!

Since reading about it on here, I have successfully used more than one voucher on various occasions over the last few months, but this morning, I was refused.

I questioned the cashier who read out the wording on the voucher which states "Multiple coupons cannot be used in the same transaction" and she was backed up by her supervisor who said you never have been able to use more than one, dispite the fact that I have done so in that very store on numerous occasions.

Have the terms changed? - I don't recall what was written on previous vouchers.
