Eco 4x4 car with CO2 emissions less than 110g??

Options
Hey everyone,

Looking to purchase a new car within the next 12 months - preferably SUV style. I know there isnt at present but is there likely to be one out soon with a CO2 emission of below 110g?

Any help/advice appreciated....

    A 4x4 SUV style with CO2 < 110 g/km = doubtful

Audi CO2 emissions are amongst the market leaders and the best they currently offer is a Q3 2.0TDI with 156 g/km

    P.S.
There is a Toyota 7 seat Prius+ due out in 2012 which is reported to have ZERO emissions whilst on batteries (but if similar to existing Prius will have 49 g/km when fuel is being used too)

Its really something to cope with snow and poor road conditions rather than space. Thank you for your advice though

Then just fit Winter tyres to any car, that will improve snow / ice performance and is much cheaper than a 4x4

Although it may not be of help to you, I’ve just had the pleasure of driving a ’61’ plate Skoda Octavia Scout (which happens to belong to my PA), and couldn’t be more impressed (apart from the manual gearbox!).

They’re not the cheapest cars ever, but in real terms aren’t the most expensive. She’s got the 2.0 diesel version, in black, with black windows and leather.

Something’s just given me an idea on replacing the Passat early next year

Edit: It’s from Trans City Skoda (Wimbledon), and she paid £23,000 with Sat Nav and various other options, to include plate transfer.

Insurance is £1,063 for a 23y.o female with 2 years no claims, originally on a Ukrainian driving license (now UK)
