The choices can be limited and they do sell some current lines at nearly full price but there are still bargains to be had. I bought a pair of limited edition red-tongue 14 holes in a size 8, brand new for £35. They even have a pre-loved selection. Worth a visit if you aren't too far away. They also keep a list by the till of pairs that people are waiting to come in stock if that might help you before going?

Just to let people know that the Dr Martens factory shop in Wollaston is open Tues to Sat 10.30 to 4 with Sat being a very busy day so maybe go during week if you can. Also they no longer sell childrens shoes but ladies start at a size 3 and mens size 6. Real bargains to be had. Limited selection sometimes but fraction of the price! Sandals £20, shoes £25, low boots £30 and high £35.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

There's already a factory shop thread - might be more details on there? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/53189457#Comment_53189457

People still wear retro 1970's boots, who else could make boots that last 40 years ?
They did comment they nearly went bust because you only ever need to buy one pair.
    Be happy...;)

Good to see this thread's still got life. I never did visit it, but I did find an outlet in Covent Garden that seemed very expensive - no surprise given its location!
