Any temps paid by Employ E

Just wondered if any other temps (or anyone for that matter) are paid by Employ E?
I work as a temp and the agency that I work for now seems to have contracted out the payroll to Employ E. They have been paying me for the last 2 weeks...I work for minimum wage and work 39 hours a week. My wage slips appear to show I pay 25p (yes, pence not pounds!!) in tax and approx 70p N.I!!!!
I'm sure this cannot be right but so far I've had no luck talking to anyone to try and sort this matter out!!
Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience?

The agency have put your payroll via a limited company by the sounds of it. Basically they do your tax return at the end of the year for you. It could be possible you have been overtaxed. But if it is what I think you don't have to be paid by this company and can go back to PAYE should you wish.
Contact your agency initially and ask what employ e are? I tried to google it but it thinks that I am spelling 'employee' wrong
Then contact the company direct and question your tax/NI.0 -
http://listentotaxman.com/ Check it on here, you can change this to suit your circumstances and see how much you SHOULD be paying in Tax and NI - I'm almost certain your underpaying but once you have used this calculator you'll know for definate - you then need to call your emplyer and let them know. Have you checked that your Tax code is correct? Call the HMRC if you need to check - they can be really helpful! :-) x:kisses2: I Love my Soldier :kisses2:0
