70% off Royal Worcester Glasses at Tesco (voucher collect)

My hubby has come home tonight with sets of these glasses. He goes in the Tesco near his office 2 or 3 times a week - often to get some supplies for the office as well as his lunch - and the sales assistants in there seem to have been pretty generous with the vouchers.

So he has come home tonight with a set ( 4 glasses) of each of :
Red wine (which are very big, I'm glad he didn't choose the bordeaux glasses, which are HUGE)
White wine
Champagne flutes
liqueur glasses
tall tumblers
short tumblers

I have to say I am quite impressed by them (and I like good quality stuff as a rule)

All we have to do now is find somewhere to put them .....

We bought 2 sets of white wine glasses after my boyfriend collected a couple of vouchers and then was given some more at a Mr T petrol station. When we bought the glasses we also did a full shop so spent around £80 and the lovely sale assistant (who was getting on a bit shall we say, but was definitely not a trout) gave us a fistfull of these vouchers

Needless to say we went back and bought 2 sets of bourdeax glasses, a decanter, a set each of the short and tall tumblers and a set of champange flutes

We were stood there thinking it's all a big set up by Tesco to trick us into spending more money (which it is in a way) but we couldn't resist as we're currently buying our first home and it will be lovely to replace the mishmash of glasses we currently have. I certainly wouldn't pay the inflated full price for these but with the vouchers they are very good value.

There's no denying the quality, but I'm quite happy with my 98p for 4 tesco value glasses!

I did the same thing! My and my mum both spent almost 60pound each at the tills, but didn't receive any vouchers. went to Cust Service and instead of giving me 4 she gave me 6! i now have 28 and only need 2 more to get 6 lots of glasses...does anyone know if they'll let me off the extra 2 vouchers?

also - if they dont have the stock in, can they order it in for you and you still get the 70% discount? or is it literally whatevers left? I'm going to my Tesco tonight, it's fairly big so i'm hoping they'll have loads.

Sarahjo, might be a bit late but buy the 5 most expensive sets of glasses with your 25 vouchers. That should come to more than £40 so you'll get another 2 vouchers when you pay then go straight back and buy the last set.

Thanks for the reply! They stopped giving out tokens on 1st jan so I couldn't have done that. I picked up 3 tall tumblers and 3 small ones, asked the woman at the till if I am ok to buy one pack of glasses with only 3 tokens, and she have me two more so I had enough she said they keep a few spares at the till incase people are 1 or 2 short like me!(even though evil customer service woman said ALL tokens had been taken off everyone she wouldn't let me have any more!). Thanks anyway!

Hi! The offer has been extended to the 22nd of Jan so you can still collect the glasses : ) The last day to collect tokens was the 15 of January. I manage to get 2 sets but still want to buy the tall ones... : (
