Could anyone with a Telegraph let us know, please, what the postage charge is for the 'free' map? :)

Can either send £1.51p in stamps or a cheque for £2.99.

    BEAR IN MIND.....

This map is not what you might think.....it covers an area of 50 square miles from your general postcode so is just a general old map with no real specifics. It will print your post code on the map but what is the point of that ?

At least the hand cream is a good freebie :)

I might still get one as a stocking filler for my granny!!

Can you post the details of where to send the cheque to and who to make the cheque out to, thanks.

Unfortunately it looks like you have to buy the paper to get the darn thing ! There is no online option and instead you have to fill in the form in the paper and post it.

They are pushing the £17.99 framed option (!) and so don't think they would honour the cheaper options if you sent just stamps or a cheque without the newspaper coupon.

I am going for the stamps option but expect a very vague map coming back and will post to let peeps know what it is like.
I expect it will just be a view of fields and rivers !

At least I got the hand cream :T which is bigger than the one in Marie Claire ! (It is 50ml.)

You can probably find out what it will look like by going to a MAP shop - possibly WHSMITH

It's going to be an A3 section (centred on your postcode) based on some Old Series maps from the ORDNANCE SURVEY.

I think the ones you're looking for are called CASSINI MAPS - Historical from 1805 to 1874

    looking like the example shown
