You bought 2 cashmere jumpers at £35 each - £70 - and then saved £33 by using the coupons you mentioned. That leaves £37 for the two jumpers, not £17 as you mention. Or am I getting this all wrong somewhere
Sorry yes I didn't clarify, they were both reduced to £25. Well actually...they both SAID £25 on the plastic cover but one scanned at £35! I questioned it and pointed it out to the lad. He then proceded to call over someone to check!!! I thought I'd get some jobsworth who would notice my vouchers and refuse them but luckily it was a 'feminine' bloke in a pink t-shirt :rotfl: and he rescanned it at £25.
Result!

OMG Sarah, I think you just missed out on a free jumper as well as spending your coupons! Sounds like a classic R&R, if it hadn't been mentioned at the till you would have got it free afterwards by querying the receipt at CS (and IMHO they would not have queried the coupons).
What was the colour/barcode of the jumper pleeeeez??PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was just about to say about that! Next time you will jump for joy when you have been overcharged on something!
Tesco in Western Avenue Cardiff has tons of these clothing vouchers scattered allllll over the place, including the car park. Managed to pick up 10 today out of one trolley where they had been dumped after being given out to people no doubt.0 -
I am slowly learning how to combine these, they had heaps of vouchers in our tesco today. Managed to use the £10 and £7 off on one £50 spend - if I had brought a different split with kids wear I wonder if I would have been able to use the £5 one too - may try again later in the week. Managed to find a couple of toiletries vouchers so off to that thread to gets some tips - thanks for all of you who advise on how to get the best out of these DustyThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Do you have any of the Quit Pack £6 off £30 spend? ... You could combine these too ...LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -
I am guilty of doing too much bootsing and am falling behind with tesco.
Our tesco is only small am I right in thinking that only the extra stores do these quit packs and clothing ones??0 -

if you get a nice ca mine put loads through green springtime the blue ones given out in store and a till split for 250 points
also if they don't all go through try customer services ask them to put them through manually often works or if all else fails return some of the clothes later on!0 -
I got my blue clothing vouchers today from ebay. Decided to try combining these with some of the Quit Kit and Springtime vouchers. Picked up £35 womens clothes and £26 kids clothes. Was going to try using
Springtime £10, £7 and £5
Quit Kit £6
Blue £10, £6 and £4
Picked SA carefully (young guy, couldn't care less attitude, perfect).
Just got to the till when the checkout supervisor jumps onto the till next to him and tells me to use this one.
I just knew there was no way he would accept all of the vouchers and so I chickened out. Told him I had changed my mind about the clothes and just paid for the rest of my shopping. Do you think I wimped out. Should I have at least tried. Mad with myself because it took me ages to pluck up the courage to try. Any suggestions as to the next time. Can you put clothing through self scanners and would it accept all these vouchers.0
