Packaged bank accounts

Just been going through my elderly mothers finances and found she has been sold a totally innapropriate packaged account @ £13.50 per month, god knows for how long, so I intend to takethis up with her Bank(Barclays) .
Has anyone had a similar experience?I would be interested in your stories.
I understand that the FSA have just started to investigate the possible mis-selling of these accounts.
At 82 she doesn't need mobile cover,travel insurance,gadget cover,RAC cover,or most of the other stuff & hasn't for the last 20 years!!
Any comments??Maybe a good cause for Martin to take on?!
