    The prize is actually shanks (as on the packet).I guess shanks/hooks are one of the same thing.Thanks for the comp.;)

    Korda Kurv Shanks (the prize) are a type of fishing hook - the shank is part of the hook and you can't buy (or win) one on its own. I was just trying to explain, as a fisherman, that the prize description in the OP is misleading - "fishing shanks" does not make sense as they don't exist!

    No problem,off to edit.
    Just spotted the note.I'm no fisherman so just took notice of the title on the page.Shanks or hooks are not my thing :D
