Any Advice Appreciated On Charges

I am currently with payplan and proud to be dealing with my debts. At present i pay £50 off per month off my overdraft with the lovely Lloyds Bank. However in the last 2 months they've started charging me £46 a month interest on the account.

Therefore i'm only paying off £4 a month. Anyone got any ideas at this rate i'll be paying them for the next 750months or 62 years.

Have you incurred any bank charges from going over your overdraft that you could claim back and pay off the overdraft?

Hello Madder - are you sure they're charging you that? Just Natwest froze the interest on my account, which I pay back £60 a month on, but through online banking they add £30 interest on - they don't actually, but the automated system shows it as being charged interest, rather than interest free. Everytime I ring them they give me a much healthier new total! x

no i haven't tried to claim back bank charges as i owe the most to them, so don't want to rock the boat.

payplan said although they are charging interest it should all balance out at the end of the day.

but waiting that long worries me.
