suggests that they know they were in the wrong

    keep pushing
Not at all - in fact more likely they couldn't be bothered to look into it and just chucked £50 at it in the hope it goes away.

nah. seems likely something is amiss.

keep pushing them that the £50 isnt acceptable

send a subject access request to get all the info on what they did at the time. e.g. when default notices were allegedly sent etv and so on

get all the info you can and complain again. take it further if you need to

I shall be taking this further. Even though i have no loans, a credit card with only 3 k on it this and a dredit exper score above 900, it still prevented me from buying a 18k car.

  • Hi again, I just wanted to see how you were getting on.

I have the same issue but I have not yet defaulted, currently on a level 6 missed payment. I am not sure if this is the worst they are going to do with me as it seems to take them ages to update progress.

I have complained and have been given cash and appologies, but the problem I have found is that each time I complain my last complaint is not recognised and therfore we dont progress.

I am now at the Ombudsman as they claim I was still wrong, but the process is so long and so I am still currently damaged!.

I would be really keen to understand if you get a quick fix to this as I have now been going for 9 months, about 25 letters and still counting.
  • Sorry forgot to mention I have now been paid £120.00 and the payments keep coming, I was even given exgratia payment into my account to spend on "something nice"?????? So you can see the type of business they are.

Please tell me who you are dealing with also, the name of the manager the letters arrive from. Many Thanks.

Yeah, looks very similar. Ok, i am gonna draft a letter to Santander. Termak listed a template but it was pointed out that point 1 was not relevant. Any suggestions as to what to include as it would seem a little light on substance ?

  • Just prove your case, you do not need to apply the law as they will not listen, when you raise this further with Ombusman or likewise they will apply the relevant law.
