Wouldn't they rather move my risk to a different property than lose the business altogether. I've never had a problem paying a mortgage repayments.

Problem is, they may get confused by my letter but I get easily confused on the phone :/ Oh dear.

I figured I may be stuffed but just trying to find solutions.

Scrap that...I'm not stuffed as you ever so optimistic people put it. I just need to find a different solution to the problem. :)

  • Your options are somewhat limited.

Have you considered renting out your current property and renting where you want to be? You'll need the lenders permission and this may not be forthcoming in your current position but if you don't ask you don't get!

    Good luck!

No, they wouldn't rather move your debt to a different property than lose your business altogether. They would rather lose your business, as they would get a lump sum of £81,000 back into their coffers and their risk will be removed.

We're not negative, we are realistic with experience in such matters. If you don't want honest responses, don't post questions on an internet forum. Nobody on here knows you personally or cares to do so. But the responses you have received have been generally accurate and correct, whether you like the way they have been communicated or not.

I've already had permision to rent out my property but have decided against that as if there are periods where the flat is vacant, it's going to cost me big time. It's just not that secure an option.

It's not the end of the world. Worst comes to worst, I'll just have to sell and rent instead.

I have no problem with any of the comments on here so I don't know what you're on about. Just trying to keep the thread positive (for eg. looking for solutions) rather than negative (eg. no hope, no options, !!!!!!ed!)

    Whats wrong with that?

Dear me....and actually some people on here do know me personally and I'm sure some others would care to....lol!

The thread has been very useful to me and has given me some other ideas to think about so :)

So you just want to hear what you want to hear rather than the truth. How does giving you false hope benefit you?
