Al_Mac wrote:Just because they get your money does not mean they have accepted payment. If they do no deal with standing orders their system may not cope or the payment may be rejected. This does not mean you get it back, it may mean it sits in an account doing nothing, possibly for days. If you make a payment this way and it goes wrong, it is your fault. You would be better off giving them a cheque, because if they cash it, they have accepted it.
they do deal in standing orders they wanted a amonut i cant give them... so she said it has to be set up from there end ... but as i understand it standing orders are set up from my end!0 -

you need to make sure that you do not although them to talk you into commiting to what you cant afford.
I have found that they can be rather rude at times but it seems to depend on who you speak to on the day.
As I already posted I phoned them and said all I I could afford at present was £1 a week and they accepted this as long as I stuck to the agreement.
IMO you have nothing to loose calling them and as long as you do not agree to something you cant afford you may be suprised.
At least you are willing to repay your debt. many people just dissapear or ignore them.
yes i did and she would not accecpt anything less than £90 a month she got quite shirty though.. but did me the details to set a standing order up..0 -

Absolute rubbish on there part. of course they want to set it up as they will then be leagally entitled to reclaim there debt. do not give them your details!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Not if you mind giving access to your account to a third party.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.
