Pringles

Surely in the long history of shopping there has been nothing more volatile and inconsistent than the price of Pringles in Asda.
A year or so ago they were 74p a tube which didn't seem too bad. But since then the prices have been up and down with no apparent rhyme or reason other than to confuse shoppers.
Today took the biscuit. Pringles were on sale for £2.49 a tube. £2.49 for Pringles :eek:
Of course you could take advantage of the "2 for £3 offer" but that's still £1.50 a tube. Do they think we're completely mad??

It will probably be so they can do a rollback to £1 for christmas and make everyone think they are saving £1.50.0

....................................
Same RRP in all the major players - £2.49 in Tesco, Sainsburys et al
might be "volatile" but not "inconsistent" - ASDA reflects the others and/or vice-versa as the manufacturer changes their numbers
Fair enough, but 190g is only 15% more than 165g. I'd expect them to be around the same price, not 150% more.
...................
NOT 150% more - JUST 25%
165g "normal" RRP is £1.99
165g +15.2% = 190g so it "should be" £1.99 +15.2% = £2.29
but actually £1.99 + 25% = £2.49
And that's down to PRINGLES - NOT ASDA or Tesco et al

Pringles are overpriced, overrated, and full of junk. Give me cheesy wotsits anyday!0

£1 in Waitrose at the moment0

I think they had Pringles on offer in Morrisons recently. Also sometimes it depends on the flavour, some are pricier than others!0

190g are £1 at Sainsbury's at the moment, I noticed Tesco had an offer too.
I like Aldi's "stackers" I think they are called.0
