Cjicken breasts or minced beef would be my wish list along with red wine! :)

Minced beef & rose wine please!

Shall we all just agree on something ........... we need a decent glitch!

So to go off topic again but on the subject of recipes, my mum gave me a really simple but yummy recipe for my whoopsies the other day. Here goes:

Baby new potatoes, cut into 4 or 6 depending on size
    Mince
2 medium carrots, sliced and cut into 4s
    1 onion, chopped
    Worcester sauce
    Onion gravy granules

Use a skillet or other cooking vessel with a lid (I prefer the shallow skillet to a saucepan)
    Chomp up all the mince
    Add in all the veg
Add a good splash of worcester sauce or more to taste
Cook on a medium (slowish) heat stirring every few minutes until the veg has cooked
Ensure the lid is kept on and any condensation from the lid is added back into the skillet
Add in more worcester sauce as required. I found that by overcooking (burning!) the veg it got a lovely sticky crust from the sauce

Once cooked simply make up onion gravy and serve. Took about an hour all in all. The potatoes & mince were whoopsied at just over £1 for the two so a very cheap meal for two.
  • Well I went to T's and found nothing of use today! :-( I did see the Cars paint set thing but hadn't seen the post until just now.
Tried some of the post its and tape things but went through at full price.
Oh I did get some bags of Tandoori Masala and Ground Corriander by Indus Foods for 39p.

And Happy Birthday to Nikilala's son, it looks like he's going to have a fabulous 18th! :beer:Can you adopt me please, it's my bday soon! :-)

there was 6 hair clipper sets and one of my friends (convert lol) went to scan 1 when she came back the rest where gone, they scanned at £1.50 it was the babyliss one . So it looks like i'll need to be more on the ball if someone is clearing shelfs xx

Hi mandz27, is there anymore info on the hair clippers as i need one apart from it being Babyliss like is it a 15 or 22 piece set? I thought i had found the 15 piece one but it scanned far too high for my budget.

    thanks
