Mrs T on CS is the wicked witch!! lol when there was the easter bits going through at 1p she was bagging em up and putting them in a draw on CS. I walked upto her and said oh my kids love those can I have some. She then said she would be putting them out as they were on a cage real soon. I knew this wasnt the case so said I was off to shop and if she could open a box it would save me looking later. She opened it and gave me a couple emmm I said make it ten! Her face was a picture. I have a family member who works there and she gets nothing all the good stuff never gets offered to them!

Sounds about right! Which dept does your family member work in? Really hope it's not one of the two older trouts on CS:eek::eek:

Came across this earlier, saw your post and thought that you may like a reminder! These little beauties bought people cars, holidays, flights etc. Wouldn't it be great if they re-appeared? If you remember, they even worked on b1g1f's and the other 50pt ones! 250pts for a £10 spend on H&B, 50pts on a £2.50 H&B spend, so b1g1f @ say £4.99 add a 8p value soap/shower gel etc. = 500pts add coupons etc. Local homeless shelters' manager said that they had never had so many nice shoiwer gels/shampoo etc before and that was without the Tresemme glitch or the Right Guard one or the.... some things never change

Hope I've done the photo right.

Not quite right, how do you make the pic larger? Doh! There's the size issue again!

I sooooo wanna unlike this post! :D Too many good memories that just won't come back. :(

    Hmm. Very interesting!

May I ask what it says on the back to see if there are any clues as to why it's reduced. We know about the clothing codes (AW/ SS, etc)

Just wonder if we could suss out the cards too!

Well done on a penny item! :T

I can't see anything of particular interest on the back.
    The barcode is 5 052004 930017
It does say though, produced in China for Tesco stores Ltd. Tesco 2010, so maybe it is old stock!:)

Woo hoo got to the end of the thread lol
Well been out tesco bashing this morning with my mum
Successful on the 1p trays and the light strikes so local Manchester folks don't bother with Middleton or Huddersfield rd as they are now aware of this glitch!!!!! Fails worth is aware but I moved one of the light strikes ( it's in the clothing section near the girls knickers) and it has a half price sticker on it
Middleton did mention that they had an email about removing the stickers on Saturday so I'm really surprised when I was successful today!!!!!!
Loads of laundry bundles in huddesfield rd but no trays left
Loads of trays in fails worth
Pantene brunette scans at full price in Huddersfield rd
And couldn't find any dressing gowns anywhere!
Also got dtd on the Disney DVDs in fails worth but they only wanted to give me single but they list that one!!!! Unfortunately only had tangled in but hey ho
Mum also got dtd on e cook kick nivea in Huddersfield rd for the shave gel so she's very happy today
Hope everyone had a successful day

Ps couldn't find any pill lows either

    Morning all,

Good luck nikki with the not smoking, Caz2703 hope you feel better soon you are really going through the wars as my mum would say, Sunshine hope all is well.

I really want some Kellogs but scanned full price in one extra and not even a sign that they ever sold it in the other. Is this one of those store specifics does anyone know? TIA

Also keep a look out for any ladies jeans that say "Superskinny" and SS11, various shades of blue denmin and one khaki I managed to get. I'm sure I did post on the other thread that they were going through 4p but think it may have got lost in all the banter. So it's not just mens to be found. Also ladies blue cargo skinny style AW10 navy blue 4p but the grey and black are not HTHs.

    Bye for now.

So, Tinyshoes is superskinny as well! Some people have all the luck!

Was a great time for tesco clubcard points collectors.

They used to put out leaflets with 500 extra points if you spent £10 on toiletries etc. Thing was the tills saw the £10 before offers so if you bought the stuff that was on bogof that week you only actually spent £5. Add to that the fact Tesco used to take the coupons back then even if you didn't buy the products which meant you often spent 10p or 20p for your toiletries and 500 points (worth £20 converted into clubcard rewards).

Its was not hard to rack up 50k points per quarter doing this. 50k points being worth £2000. You'd have spent in real hard cash in tesco no more than £50 or so.

**French Knickers wipes the tears away while thinking back....**

Cuba was very good that year:)
