I'm going to catch up after I've eaten but in the middle of cooking, thinking where we are going to do the weekly shop tomorrow, I felt moved to post this.
Message to whoever is reading the glitches posted on here & facebook & passing them straight onto the management or H.O. (I'm not in the facebook group but if you want to copy & paste feel free)
A couple of months ago Tesco was THE place to shop, double clubcard points, accepting competitors coupons, politely giving DTD if you had made a mistake as promised. A very helpful Customer Service dept at H.O. if there still was a problem and lately, and I am fairly new to all this glitching & 1p & 4p items and quite unsuccessful finding them.
In the past couple of weeks its all changed clubcard points have been reduced, competitors coupons no longer available because you say we prefer lower prices in this price drop thing but they aren't lower, prices of items going up a few days before they go on special offer or BOGOF, people pointing out they have been overcharged only offered the difference and being treated like criminals if they ask for DTD which they are entitled to, two very stupid people I have personally spoken to at H.O. in the past few days who sound like they are reading from the Tesco manual but are on the wrong page, people being told their clubcard vouchers have already been exchanged in store when they still have them in their hands, a heavily pregnant woman being asked if it was a real bump and now the only redeeming factor of still shopping at Tesco the chance you might find an item from last seasons stock at a reduced price which you would much rather bin than sell to a loyal customer who has spent hours in your store & whilst there bought other items & dismantling the in store scanners so customers cannot check prices because the assistants are too inept to put the correct labels against the correct products.
Tesco is not that much of an outstanding store & the own brand stuff is not great so a decision has been made tomorrow we go to another chain of supermarket & if we like it we may not be back. Drop in the ocean you might think but how many on here are maybe feeling the same & how many lurk but don't post as I said shot yourselves in the foot !
Back later just for the social interaction boys & girls
Thanks for this, totally agree...Before DTD days i would plan my weekly shop between the 3 main supermarkets, on my day off I would shop between them all, getting the best deals. Since then I have always done my main shop in mr t's, yes getting the odd glitch but in all spending quite a bit. Out of my vouchers I have managed to book a surprise holiday to Ireland for my Dh to visit his twin who he has not seen for many yrs as we could not afford it. Now that the perks of shopping(and i dont mean the 4p items etc) have stopped, it looks like I will now be taking my custom elsewhere:A You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person. :A0 -

Sacla was on offer in morries but that finished on Sunday. I'm not aware of any offers at the moment I'm afraid but the front page of the printable coupons thread has a fantastic shopping list that's regularly updated by MT with the best deals to use vouchers with :T

Had to go to T's to pick up DD2 glasses, while I was there I noticed 2 banners for the 1/2 price gift sets. So I brought 3 that were on the pictures and got trouted at CS desk, told me it was only selected products and what I had wasn't included. Stood and argued but was getting nowhere she even told me to ring HO and complain to them cos she was fed up of it. By this time dd's were getting fed up so got a refund and came home, phoned CS who said I should have got dtd and will log my complaint and look into it and send me a gift card to apologise.
It has made me more determined to stand my ground in future and get dtd.
He said any overcharge at all results in Dtd, no matter what.
This is what I mean its not your fault the C.S. person at the desk has had a lot of people complaining they aren't getting the right deal on the gift sets & its tough if she's fed up with it, thats what she's paid for. I thought the 1/2 price finished yesterday but the 3 for 2 that was p39 in the Tesco mag runs for a while yet.
Well done standing your ground0 -

I just want to make it absolutely clear that this person is not me.
Although I have said I'm leaving both groups, it's only because the constant !!!!!ing and backbiting is getting too much and I can do without the hassle.
I would never sabotage either group and I hope you find out who the culprit is and deal with him/her accordingly
Purdita, it's exactly as Leenie said, we are all trying so hard to move on , no one thinks you sabotaged anything so just come back and move on, draw a line under the FB saga, ignore any comments like we all are about FB, and feel the MSE love, Now come on you know you want to;);)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
