Either I'm out of the FB group as well, or it's closed ... but how will we ever know?

On a more positive note, I found a scanner in my local, hiding away, that I never knew about. Fantastic seeing as the last one got switched off and has remained so.

I don't think its closed - Baileys post 6548 above says that 50 of us have been booted off by somebody on there but, if we wish to, we can re-apply. I'm really too confused by it all - its all up and down like a tarts drawers . I was debating whether to delete myself anyway so perhaps they have made the decision for me. Its a real shame for those that put in so much hard work in getting what seemed like a good idea up and running.

snap - i got mine today from playgroup with both DDs on...not very often they sit together and smile at the same time so am happy i've got evidence of it happening at least once!!!

Try scanning the photo...then printing it off bigger....or if you want it reallllllyyy big, then scan it, load it onto memory card,.and take it to Ts or anywhere that prints pics and get it whatever size/format you like....much cheaper than 'buying' the school packs!

I've done this with tons of pics...the baby pics they do in hospital when theyre first born, the mothercare pixiphotos, school photos....even normal old photos that I want printing bigger or in a different format....hth :)

edited- just realised this has already been posted...whoops!
i know what you mean my LO usely pulls a face or something like that so just glad its a nice one this time even if she looks like she giving the camera guy a dirty look :rotfl:

Another little tip I had some old family photos that were more of a brown from the 30's than the fuzzy 60's black & whites taken by professional photographers I blew up a great family group wedding shot on a COLOUR photocopier it came out so clear I really should frame it.

never thought of that i was going to pay to have it done in black and white dont think ill bother now thank you x

  • Oh, I forgot to say - I found a Stig dressing up outfit tucked away at the back of a rail today. :j

But it had no tags on at all. :(

If it doesn't have the price tag then the checkout operator can always type the number from the label sewn into the clothes and it comes up with the price too. Had this a couple of times

WOW just bloody wow actually speechless  Someone is going to be in for a mighty fall after they come down from their power trip. Name and shame them. Then I can avoid them.

Totally agree. After the trouble it's caused I think the person responsible should be named & shamed. I'd like to thank you for the great idea, unfortunately it didn't work out as well as hoped.

And I :rotfl: at the Waitrose comment, more so because they don't even have them over here. I was in the John Lewis one in Bluewater once but it was a tad too much for me. The most expensive we have over here is M&S. No Waitrose, no Harrods, no Fortnum & Mason. In fact they're still having a hissy fit about opening a JL as it will 'impact on the local high street shops'.

Oh and we don't have Aldi, Netto or Costco either so you lot should count your blessings over on t'mainland.
