When I spoke to my friend. All it takes is 1 person to sit at a computer all day to read what you're reading. It dosen't cost that much to alter the price of something that appears to be cheap when they read it, or am i mad in thinking they'll just ignore it when it's given to them on a plate like 'Facebook'

Tesco's on the ball???? Pull the other one.
How long do some dtds go on for? It could possibly only take one high value dtd on say DJHero2 for the item to be flagged and for the stores to communicate to HO for all stores to be notified..some of these dtds go on for days or longer.
Maybe there are fewer of us than we think...that actively search for the price glitches etc...I remember before I was on MSE, now and again I would be pleasantly surprised that something had gone through cheaper. Hate to think how many other times I may have been overcharged. And that may be the balance, while we are looking one way at the cheap loo roll, T's is looking at another price increase on milk that everyone buys.
Just saying other supermarkets manage their pricing pretty well, no where near as many price errors. And Mr T has to get us MSErs in there somehow lol.

I was just reading this post and thinking the same as you celebrate, so is it or isnt it still running?

    Footies on:(

In case anyone is wondering why I'm not watching it, we've not won anything since 1966 & any big tournament we are in we lose on penalties. So I'm not a big England fan, I love watching Portugal, Spain, Argentina the Latin types with the long hair ;) & Germany so organised & South Korea.

I can't forgive the foreign managers for dumping David Beckham before his time & not interested in watching John Terry & Frank Lumpard, Ashley Cole etc.

Sorry again to the FB people but here is another example of why you should keep your group exclusive. I don't mind it being exclusive for the right reasons. I believe that a group like yours can co-exist with the main site and am quite cool about it. Please only allow well trusted proven posters onto the group.

Sorry Artha, it wouldnt quote you for some reason

Anyway, you are right in so many ways. In fact pretty much every comment you have made on this thread about the whole fb thing, Ive agreed with.

Ive been stupid and been far too naive. Thats been proved by today, coming home from the school run to find that someone, obviously an admin, has removed over 50 members of the group. Well and Truely stitched up. Now it doesnt take a genius to work out who is involved, so thank you for a valuable lesson.

Now, this list. Strange that it took tesco over 72 hours to stop a DTD that cost them 120 on DJ Hero (that times the amount of Tesco stores, equals what, a £100,000 loss???), but less than 24 hours for a facebook list???? Really?? We'll just ignore the MSE list that was flating about as well, shall we?

Now, Back to my original point. I believe people can choose for themselves. So, for those that were booted out of the group today, if you want to rejoin, you can. If you dont, absolutely no problem, and thanks for giving it a go

Again, anyone has any issues with what ive said, please feel free to pm, as discussing it on the thread is not what it is there for

    Thanks again.

Oh, and just to clarifty, for those that can be bothered to look back, you'll see I actually asked on this very thread what people thought about a FB group before creating it. Once people started agreeing (and I dont just mean one or 2), thats when it was done. i 'didnt do it off my own back'

    Thanks

well it's not coming up for me

but the way I read Bailey's post I thought she meant she was restarting it???

    Have I misunderstood?[/QUOTE]

Sounds to me after rereading it like it's still running but I'm totally confused, If it is I'd have thought people would have realised that it's not the best idea ;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • Facebook is the worst thing that ever happened to this thread !!
I love the chatter but every other post is about FB the last few days :(:(
Also incredibly saddened that the admins were naive enough to think they could "vet" all those who joined.
It was a silly idea that had already failed once before, I'm sorry but it's ruining this thread and I don't believe anyone has the guts to say so, things were fine the way they were.
So what if the thread gets trolled once in a while, why take it so personally ?
Happens on all forums and at the end of the day you could just ignore it.
I want this thread back to it's former glory :(:(:(

    Right another quick update.

I got plenty at 92p and told another young lad who looked at me like i'd escaped from the nuthouse :rotfl:, did see him go through the checkout though with 4 packs, examining his receipt as he left.

Also got two 4p scarves, 4p shoes and a 4p Mr bump dress-up outfit, which set off the alarms as I left :o. The security guard could hardly hide his laughter when he looked at my receipt, but got tag removed and all was ok :D

And lastly, dtd on energiser rubber torches, thanks to op. half price sel £4, scanned £8 and dtd on paisley letter writing sets, sel £1, scanned £4 :j:j

So just goes to show, a bit of hard work stil pays off:)
