- But the best news of all!! ... I AM NOW A FULLY FLEDGED BOOTS EMPLOYEE!! I got through the application stage, then an online colleague assesment and then got an interview for Saturday just gone, but didnt want to mention it in case i was unsucsessful but i got the phonecall this morning to say i got the job!!!!
:D:D i'm so excited! plus! its on a retail park and it's only 4 units away from the Tesco homeplus!! Guess where i'll be spending my lunch/any breaks?!
well done!:T :j:j:j I used to work for Boots for 6 months a few years ago... it was fun as I loooove all the things they sell(I was doing the make up section and it was like a dream come true for me!:o) Was also good for getting the bargains(yes, they have nice rtc and misprices but it's usually the staff who spots them and gets them... they never last long though...)
I quit because the money wasn't anywhere as good as what I had in my profession but I see it as a good experience...
Ok, I'm off for a bath now and then to get everything ready for tomorrow... 3 interviews booked but I have to go through it again to see if they are worth going to(well, one is the one so it is, the other one isn't really but I'll go, the third one I need to check out...) I had someone calling me and inviting for Wednesday last week but can't remember what company it was and they didn't send an email so AppleJuice pm me tomorrow so that we can meet up :j(unless I'll have a second one for the big one but I guess it won't happen until more towards the weekend)
I'm not able to keep up with you tonight and tomorrow and I hope I won't miss out big time...
see ya soon! :beer:0 - But the best news of all!! ... I AM NOW A FULLY FLEDGED BOOTS EMPLOYEE!! me too, totally agree0 -
The 5p off petrol has finished at the moment, I asked about it today in store and there is nothing on the web site about it either.
On another note I bought some 4p tights today, came up as "not on file" so the kindly lady looking after the ss tills put them through for me at the ticket price of £4:eek:. Guess what I'll be taking back for a refund tomorrowCouldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can
