 I just had to climb up on the kitchen side to start getting some presents down to wrap for DS birthday and as I got down I got my trouser leg caught on the cupboard door ended up falling and hitting my head on the washer and knocked a mc d's glass off the side smashing it every where and ripped the door off completely!

Aw Beki, you have my sympathy - I once did something v similar in that I climbed up to get a wine glass, caught the bottom of my jeans leg on the cupboard door handle, fell on my a*se and pulled the cupboard door off it's hinges. I was lying winded on the floor for 5 mins while my "friends" wet themselves laughing!

Woo, wish my locals had wifi, my 3g always drops out in store.:T

I walk around Tesco looking at MSE on my HTC Desire HD, It's good because you can get deals as soon as they're there but also It's not so good because staff can look on here and tell the manager about any glitches. :(

i agree with you also this site is enough for my needs. What i dont understand is we all live in different parts of the country and if you do find someone who shops at the same tescos you can always pm them.It is very clear that the facebook site is just for the chosen few but as far as i am concerned they can keep it.

Can I just try to reassure people that FB is not just for the chosen few. There are already over 100 members so it's hardly the little clique some people are trying to portray.
People have given hours of their time in helping to set it up, and with setting up anything new, there are always going to be teething problems. These will be ironed out but it doesn't help matters when people seem hell bent on trying to cause ill feeling and creating a them and us divide.
We have repeatedly said that there is nothing on there that isn't on here. We all still come on here to post and chat.... BUT...and it's the only but, 11+ Grabbits does not allow swapping, photo's all in the same place and the function to download onto phones (if you can do that...I can't!)
There have to be certain rules, as there are on any forum, and if you can't abide by them, you could be removed....just as you can from anywhere else including MSE.
If you have pm'd and not heard back, it doesn't mean you haven't been accepted...it might just be there is no-one there at the mo that can deal with it. You do need a FB account and it is "hidden" on Facebook, but this means your other Facebook friends or family can't see what is going on. (You might not want the world and his son to see what their pressies actually cost!!)
PLEASE PLEASE stop this facebook bashing....if it's not for you fine, but it was set up to complement this thread...not to compete with it.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
