She's ASSUMED imo that she rolled into the back of the other car and although I joked about it earlier, there really is no evidence that the other person indeed did not roll back into her, then notice she wasn't looking and blamed her!
Unless she is 100% certain that she indeed did roll into the other car then I'd be instructing her insurance to tell the other party to foxtrot oscar!
As I said I'm no lawyer but I THINK if you go into the back of someone then your to blame. Dunno I may be wrong & of course you can stand up in court & argue your case that other car rolled into you especially if there was no witness dunno dunnoShop one - A vs T
Shop two - A vs W
And then repeat :j:j:j
& now add - A vs S

Oh my word..... there's no way I'm going to be able to catch up since yesterday! I was up half the night with DD2 so am going to bed in a minute, just thought I would "pop in" to say hope everyone had a good day and hope I haven't missed too much

I did go to get my "normal" shopping tonight and had a little look around but this store has no scanners working so couldn't really check for 4p items. I did get a couple of the tubs of Halloween Haribo Sweets and Swizzels Halloween Tubs reduced to £2.50 (would never have paid £10 for them ).
Anyway, I'm off now, I will try to catch up from here tomorrow
Night all :wave:If at first you don't succeed ........

Far from it. I got fed up feeding and clothing the ex and his kids (including the one that wasn't mine) while all he did was line his ex's pockets. Am I selfish? Some men don't know when they have it good hon.0 -
just to put minds at ease this would never go to court over such a minor incident even if whiplash was claimed. insurance firms always try and settle out of courtAs I said I'm no lawyer but I THINK if you go into the back of someone then your to blame. You are indeed correct. If you go in to the back of someone then you are automatically at fault, no ifs no buts.
I was on a bus once and the driver stopped to pick someone up. A car slammed in to the back of the bus and the car driver and her bf were ranting and raving that the driver braked suddenly and that it was his fault. Being a bus with passengers on it the driver had to call the police and they took their time in coming. Eventually all the passengers got piffed off and left the driver to it. I stuck around so the driver had at least one witness, especially if it got nasty as the two from the car were having a right go. They kept saying it was his fault and that they were going to sue him and have him sacked etc etc. Eventually I piped up and told them to shut up and told them that if you go in the back of someone it's automatically their fault. I got told to shut the fcuk up and was told I was only a passenger on the bus and asked "what the hell do you know?" The police eventually arrived and they went off on one with them and they told them what I had said and asked if they would tell me to butt out as I didn't know what I was talking about. The oldest one of the two coppers looked at them and said "The young laddie is 100% correct so I think you owe him an apology, hope you've got good insurance, buses are expensive to fix". I never got the apology but I did get a very nice letter from First Bus for sticking around with the driver and providing the police and them with witness statements.

I had a new store open near me recently and they actually managed to have an OOD SEL from before the date they opened!?! So that was 4 bags of dishwasher tablets for free for me!:j
Although they did try to wriggle out of DTD by saying they don't do it in 1st week of store opening as they are bound to make mistakes????
Also I went to another new store last week and managed to get a bedrail, no SEL but went through at 60p:T(edit) not as bad as my brother though, he once hit a buffalo! :rotfl:
My OH once hit a deer at 3am on a road with no lights, he said he couldn't just leave it in the road as it could have caused an accisent so he had to carry it off the road. Poor thing
(the deer not him!)i'm so tired....gotta go to bed folks, have a baby to feed....although at 6 weeks she slept through the night last night!!! what a good girl!!
My LO is 6 wks old today too!:D Well done on getting your LO to sleep through! I get 5hrs uninterrupted every night so I have no complaints
