Thank you, i saw these yesterday :rotfl:didn't realise they were on " promotion " lol think i will have to buy some new duvts for the summer

xx

Are you sure these are what you saw? These went clearance a while ago now and stores have now restocked with the twin pillow sets which are in very similar packaging. These are currently £12 but do have a star on the SEL suggesting they are a time limited product and may well go clearance at any time.

Morning everyone - looks like I missed a bit of a barny last night. I don't think I'll bother reading back through all the pages but will wait patiently for the next big glitch.... my wish list is a glitch on red wine, coke and peanuts! :)

Hi everyone. I've been a member for over 5 years, but took to lurking last year due to time/family issues. I frequent a few of the boards, but this thread is my favourite. Most people on here are so helpful and supportive, and the banter makes me laugh out loud at times. Keep it up, and please try to ignore the odd inflammatory posts that appear. It would be awful to lose this thread like we did the old Boots one.
Anyway, I would like to thank the OP for the heads up on the 4p scarves. I managed to get two each for me and my mum yesterday. She was delighted with them. I kept the sa chatting, and she scanned three before she realised :eek:that the fourth one scanned at 4p. She told me that the price was definitely wrong, and that T would never sell £5 items at such a low reduced price, but she let them through, possibly cos the store was heaving with people, and the supervisors were running around like the proverbial headless chooks.
She scanned the rest of my shopping, totalled it, and then I brought out the coupons:D. A £65 total, with bogofs, whoopsies, multibuys and mocs came down to £25:T. She was so shocked, and started to go through the mocs, saying 'did you buy that? and that? and that? Of course I had bought everything the mocs were for. By this time the man behind was giving us both the evils, so she let me pay and leave.

Nearly forgot to say that the Hovis homebakes are £1.59 each or 2 4 £2, so if you use the freebie mocs that were available, the till gives you £1.18 off the rest of your shop for every two you buy.

A small 1p find was a Thomas and Friends two spoons and forks set, in a clear plastic wrapper with a blue header on a hanging strip. barcode 0707226560805. I haven't seen them mentioned before so hope it helps someone.

I reckon everyone has too much time on their hands so I propose that we all busy ourselves with potential glitches so we don't have another black Tuesday.

What dya reckon?

Up for the challenge?

Shall I send you a super duper list of offers ending Tuesday night?
All that remains then is to check to see if any new offers kick in on the Wednesday on the same items.

If so: potential overlaps if they come on early!

Shall I........?

No I don't think it is Sir Terry - I think it is philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com - he is so fed up of having to answer all our emails, he decided to have a night off and provide alternate entertainment by causing a ruckus on what is normally a friendly, helpful, connvivial thread ... nice one phil!
• Just seen an advert for a car boot sale at my local Tesco this sunday. Everything on Tesco stall £1, how many 4p items do you think they'll have :rotfl:

Thank you for leaving me some scarves, Tinyshoesicon14.gif. I got four of them but OH was bored and wanted to go! The vests scanned at £6  so they were left at the checkout.

No worries, hoped they would still be there, there were absolutely loads on thursday. Did you not get one of each design, I found 8 different ones. ;) And I think there were a couple more that would have scanned 4p looking at peoples pics.

Did you notice there were still some mens 4p jeans but think 30", 38" and 40" waist not sure as there are still couple pairs in my local and may have got sizes mixed up. Only managed to get DH a pair for £1, the others I thought may have fitted were either too short or too tight! But I did find good homes for them, SIL has been trying to pay for them, somehow I don't think she believed they only cost 4p. :D

Sorry forgetting my manners, morning all. Just catching up so looks like I may be a while. ;)
